8. It was agreed to conduct a joint survey of the Sir Creek and adjoining areas and waters between November 2006 and March 2007.

नवम्बर, 2006 और मार्च, 2007 के बीच सर व्रीक, इससे जुड़े क्षेत्रों और जल का संयुक्त सर्वेक्षण कराने का निर्णय लिया गया ।

9. On 22-23 December 2006, technical level talks on Sir Creek led by Hydrographers of India and Pakistan were held in Rawalpindi to decide the coordinates for a joint survey of the Sir Creek and adjoining areas without prejudice to the positions of the two countries, as well as to hold discussions simultaneously on the maritime boundary.

22-23 दिसम्बर, 2006 को दोनों देशों की स्थिति के प्रति निष्पक्ष रहते हुए सर व्रीक और आस-पास के क्षेत्र के संयुक्त सर्वेक्षण और साथ ही समुद्री सीमा पर चर्चा आयोजित करने के लिए समन्वयक का निर्धारण करने हेतु रावलपिंडी में भारत और पाकिस्तान के जलविज्ञानियों के नेतृत्व में सर व्रीक पर तकनीकी स्तर की वार्ता हुई।

10. In this regard, it was agreed to convene a series of Secretary level meetings on the issues of Counter-Terrorism (including progress on Mumbai trial) and Narcotics Control; Humanitarian issues; Commercial & Economic cooperation; Tulbul Navigation Project/Wullar Barrage; Sir Creek (at the level of Surveyor General/Additional Secretary) ; Siachen; Peace & Security including CBMs; Jammu & Kashmir; and promotion of friendly exchanges.

इस संबंध में आतंकवाद का मुकाबला (मुंबई आतंकी हमलों के मुकदमें में हुई प्रगति सहित) एवं स्वापक नियंत्रण; मानवीय मुद्दों; व्यावसायिक एवं आर्थिक सहयोग; तुलबुल नौवहन परियोजना/वुलर बैराज; सरक्रीक (महा सर्वेक्षक/अपर सचिव स्तर पर); सियाचिन; विश्वासोत्पादक उपायों सहित शांति एवं सुरक्षा; जम्मू एवं कश्मीर; मैत्रीपूर्ण आदान-प्रदानों को बढ़ावा जैसे मुद्दों पर अनेक सचिव स्तरीय बैठकों का आयोजन करने पर सहमति बनी।
